Getting engaged was one of the happiest moments of my life! But then came the fun (and sometimes daunting) task of finding the perfect wedding band to complement my beautiful oval engagement ring. My ring is a 1.50 carat, oval lab-grown diamond, E color, VS1 clarity set on an 18k yellow gold band. For reference, my finger size is 5.5 (K 1/2). I wanted to share my experience and some of the things I learned along the way in hopes that it might help others on their own journey to finding the perfect ring.
I started my search online, looking at countless pictures of oval engagement rings paired with different types of wedding bands. I quickly realized that there were so many options, it could be overwhelming! I saw some really simple, classic pairings that looked elegant. I considered something similar myself, because I didn't want anything too flashy or something I'd get tired of. I wanted something low maintenance and timeless.
Then, I came across a picture of an oval ring with a plain matching band. It was so simple and pretty! I loved the idea of having a plain band, especially as a sentimental piece. I knew I could always add to the stack later on.

Another idea that caught my eye was pairing the oval with a baguette east-west bezel setting for the wedding band. The contrast in shape and setting sounded really interesting and unique. It's a bolder choice, but I appreciated the modern look.

I decided to try on a few different styles to see what I liked best. I went to a few local jewelry stores and tried on plain bands, diamond bands, and even some bands with different shapes of stones. It was really helpful to see the rings in person and how they looked with my engagement ring.
I found that a simple, delicate band seemed to work best with my oval engagement ring. The oval shape is already quite striking, so I didn't want a band that would compete with it. I also considered the width of the band – too wide and it would overwhelm my finger, too thin and it might get lost next to the engagement ring. Finding the right balance was key.
I found a gorgeous option from homepage that really resonated with me. It was a simple, polished band that complemented my engagement ring perfectly.
After a lot of searching and trying on, I finally settled on a beautiful, simple band. It's classic, elegant, and doesn't take away from the beauty of my engagement ring. I’m so happy with my choice!
While searching for wedding bands, I also stumbled upon some other beautiful jewelry that caught my eye. I really liked the look of delicate necklaces, especially those with floral or cross pendants. I saw a beautiful Exquisite Cubic Zirconia Flower Shape⨯ Pendant Necklace from Sumsfashion. It was the perfect length and had a delicate, feminine design. It would be perfect for everyday wear or for a special occasion.

I love how the pendant has a flower shape with a cross inside. It's made of stainless steel with cubic zirconia, giving it a luxurious feel without the hefty price tag. I feel like it adds a touch of elegance to any outfit. I've been wearing it almost every day since I got it!
